Whirlpool Cabrio Washer Error F1

The Cabrio Washer F1 error code  happens when the main control board gets a bad signal from the water level pressure switch circuit. This is normally caused by a pinched or ripped water level pressure switch hose. Steps to take to try and remedy this error are listed below.

  1. Remove the cover panel on the back of the console and check and make sure the water level pressure switch hose is snug on the connection at the back of the control board.
  2. Follow the hose and make sure its not pinched or kinked anywhere then check it for holes or tears.
  3. If the issue continues and F1 flashes repeatedly when pressing the power button then the main control needs to be replaced.
