The Cabrio Washer F5E1 error code means the lid switch is in a locked state but the lid switch is open.

  1. This error can happen if for some reason the start button wash pushed with the lid raised.
  2. This can also happen if the control can’t tell if the lock assembly is in the locked or unlocked state and usually means the lock assembly has failed and needs replacing, in some cases the control board can be at fault.
