My Amana front loading washing machine keeps stopping and displaying ND. I don't hear the drain pump running when it should be. The timer will just stop moving after a bit and ND shows.
If you don't hear the drain pump running at all or at least hear a humming or buzzing noise coming from the drain pump, either the pump motor has failed or it's not getting voltage from the main control boad. First thing you need to do is check and see if the drain pump motor is getting voltage, if it is getting voltage the drain pump needs to be replaced. If it's not getting voltage then the control board needs to be replaced.
If you check further and do hear the drain pump motor trying to run but it's just not draining properly check it for clogs and clean it out and that should take care of the problem.
