Any help would be greatly appreciated

It's either the bearing in the drain pump, on those models they are metal and will start slipping causing a grinding noise. Take the belt off the pump and spin it with your hand if it's bad you will know. If that's not it and it's only doing it while agitating then there are some bad gears in the transmission itself.
