Whirlpool Cabrio Washer Error LID
The Cabrio Washer LID error code happens when you try and start a cycle with the washer lid open or you try and run consecutive wash cycles without opening the lid between cycles. If the error persists then the steps to take to try and remedy this error are listed below.
- Unplug the washer for a few minutes and plug it back in, that should reset the board and allow you to start a cycle.
- If the reset did not work then that means the main control is having a problem recognizing if the lock assembly is locking and unlocking properly. Normally that is caused by a faulty door lock assembly but it can also be the main control board. There are diagnostic procedures to figure out which is causing the problem you will need an ohm/volt meter and understand how to operate it.
