Whirlpool Cabrio Washer Error F53
The Cabrio Washer F53 Error happens when the main control board detects to high of a temperature from the motor module which is normally caused by something keeping the tub from spinning. Steps to take to try and remedy this error are listed below.
- You need to spin the tub by hand and see if turns freely. If it feels like there is drag on the tub then pull the tub because clothing or something has gotten into the inner tub under the outer tub and has it hung up.
- If the tub does spin freely then you will need to test the motor circuit which requires having an ohm/volt meter and understanding how to use it. If you do not then at this point its highly recommended that you call a local service company to fix it for you.
