[Solved] OL/F70 Error Code On Whirlpool Cabrio Washer

Keep getting a oL code on my Whirlpool Cabrio Washer. When the washer needs to agitate it Skips to 5 minutes remaining, drains and say oL. 
replaced suspension rods and it still does the same thing.

The "oL" error code on a Cabrio washer stands for "Over Load". This means that the washing machine thinks the tub is overloaded and cannot spin properly. F70 and OL are basically caused by the same thing and in most cases the problem is caused by friction on the drive system not allowing the tub to float up and down on the shaft properly. 

To fix the OL error you usually have to sand down the shaft to remove all the built up soap scum on it so that the tub can float properly. In some cases when the build up on the shaft is just too bad you have to replace the entire shaft and bearings.
