How To Access & Remove Whirlpool Cabrio Washer Control Board

To Access & Remove Whirlpool Cabrio Washer Control Board, you will need to remove the console from the top of the washer. The directions for removing the console are below.

1. Unplug the washer or disconnect power.
2. Remove the three mounting screws from the rear of the console.

3. Lift the console off of the cabinet and disconnect the user interface board cable connector at the control board connector P11.

4. Remove the control board.

a) Disconnect the nine wire connectors from the control.
b) Pull the pressure transducer tube off the fitting on the control.
c) Remove the hex-head mounting screw.
d) Lift the front of the control, slide it out from under the clips at the back, and remove it.
