The Cabrio Washer F8E3 error code happens when the main control detects too much water in the tub for the capacity of the washer. It’s an over flow condition.
- Check the water level pressure switch hose from the tub to the main control for kinks, pinches or tears, also make sure its connected properly to the main control.
- Turn the power to the machine off or unplug it, does water still enter the machine? If so the water inlet valve has failed and needs to be replaced.
- If all the above looks ok then there are tests that can be made with an ohm/volt meter, but most likely the water pressure level switch sensor on the main board has failed and the board will have to be changed out to repair the washer.
