My Cabrio washer keeps giving us a UL error code and stops working. I moved the washer to work on it and there is an oil/greasy circle under the washer. The stator was removed and the grease seems to be on the shaft as well. Is this the bearings of the washer and will this fix the error?

Yes that means water is seeping down through the tub bearing. The bearing kit you need is linked below it comes with the bearing tool as well.
