I have a Maytag washer model #mhw5100dw0 that won’t wash due to a f5e2 error. I have replaced the door lock and it did not resolve the issue. Could I have gotten a bad replacement part or is there another problem causing this error. If so how do I diagnose this. Thanks!

If you replaced the door lock assembly and you are still getting the error then the lock circuit on the main control board has failed and the board needs to be changed.
