I have a Frigidaire Wall Oven Model Number FFET2725LWB and it's shutting down after the oven is on a while and giving the F43 Error. What is that error and how do I fix it?

On that model Frigidaire Wall Oven The F43 error code is indicative of a problem with the cooling fan. The fan might be operational, but if its revolutions per minute (RPM) fall below 700, it will cause the code.

Identifying the Problem: The F43 error code can be triggered by a cooling fan that's not rotating or rotating too slowly, or by an issue with the fan speed sensor. To determine the cause, initiate a Bake cycle and within the first 15 seconds, check if the fan is rotating by feeling for air flow through the vent above the upper oven door.

Checking the Cooling Fan: If the fan isn't rotating or is rotating slowly, verify if there's 120VAC at the fan motor. If the voltage is present but the fan isn't rotating, the fan motor needs replacing. If there's no voltage at the fan motor during a Bake cycle, inspect the connection to the relay board (J3 pin 7) and Neutral. If the harness or relay board is faulty, they need to be replaced.

Checking the Fan Speed Sensor: If the fan appears to be rotating normally but the F43 error code persists, there could be an issue with the fan speed sensor. Ensure the sensor's connection is properly made, as per the wiring diagram, between the sensor on the fan and the EOC-display board.

Testing the Fan Speed: For diagnostic purposes, you can enter a test mode that displays the fan speed in RPM. To access this mode, power up the unit and within 30 seconds, press and hold the upper oven Bake and Broil keys for 3 seconds until all screen segments are illuminated. Once in test mode, pressing the upper oven Light key once will display the fan speed in RPM. In normal mode, the F43 error is generated if the fan speed falls below approximately 700 RPM.

Once you are able to figure out what's causing the problem let us know what part you need and we can help you find it if need be.
