The Cabrio Washer F36 error happens when the main control detects failed communications between the central control unit (CCU) and the user interface (UI). The steps to take to try and fix this error are listed below:
- Unplug the washer and remove the rear panel on the console to access the main control board.
- Make sure that the P7 plug is properly connected to the board, even if it looks ok unplug it and reinsert it to ensure a good connection.
- Plug the washer back up, press power/cancel, wash cycle normal, power/cancel, if the washer starts and updates the 7 segment display then communication has been restored and the washer should be fine.
- If the error persists replace the user interface board, if the (UI) has already been replaced then replace the main control board.
